The 2009 Fall Season Started August 22nd. This fall GESA has over 60 players and 8 coaches competing in the Lorain County Soccer League. New uniforms were all the rage to start this season. All players received home and away jerseys, shorts, socks, matching ball bags, and a soccer ball. Good luck to everyone this season! If your child or someone you know is interested in playing soccer, call our voice mail line 440-782-4057 and leave your phone number or email a board member. 10/24/09 - LCSL Fall Tournament Greater Elyria Soccer Association Our organizational focus continues to be youth player and personal development of soccer skills and sportsmanship. GESA provides children from age 8 to 14 more advanced soccer opportunities with travel teams participating in the NOGSL, AASL and LCSL Soccer Leagues. GESA is always looking for great people with the ability and talent to coach our sons and daughters. We are committed to finding the right people and training them to be excellent coaches. All coaches are encouraged to attend Ohio Youth Soccer Association directed coaching clinics to receive their coaching licenses. GESA will reimburse the entire cost of OYSAN sanctioned classes. These classes are taught by some of the best youth soccer coaches in the state. Visit www.OYSAN.org for more information. We are still playing a the new location! In close cooperation with the Elyria High School Soccer coaches and program GESA moved our home field to the Elyria High School's Pioneer Field at 570 North Abbe. The fields will be put in and new goals are going to be added. Good Luck to all the soccer teams! |
