Greater Elyria Soccer Sign Up What: Registration for Fall 2009-Spring 2010 Soccer Seasons Where: Pioneer Field, 570 North Abbe Road, Elyria 44035 When: Sunday, June 7th at 6:00 PM Cost: No cost to participate in sign up practice. Team Fees: $90 for 8 Fall 2009 and 8 Spring 2010 games and practices. Due December 20th 2009 Uniform: $85 - Includes Home and Away Jersey, Shorts, Socks, Warmups, Soccer Ball and Backpack. GESA Summer Soccer Camp What: Soccer Camp in cooperation with Elyria High School Soccer for all youth soccer players Where: Pioneer Field, 570 North Abbe Road, Elyria 44035 When: June 29th through July 3rd from 6:00-7:30PM Cost: Cost is $60 per player, payable to “GESA”. Due June 6, 2009 Contact: PO BOX 1702 Elyria, Ohio 44035 440-782-4057 Greater Elyria Soccer Association Our organizational focus continues to be youth player and personal development of soccer skills and sportsmanship. GESA provides children from age 8 to 14 more advanced soccer opportunities with travel teams participating in the NOGSL, AASL and LCSL Soccer Leagues. GESA is always looking for great people with the ability and talent to coach our sons and daughters. We are committed to finding the right people and training them to be excellent coaches. All coaches are encouraged to attend Ohio Youth Soccer Association directed coaching clinics to receive their coaching licenses. GESA will reimburse the entire cost of OYSAN sanctioned classes. These classes are taught by some of the best youth soccer coaches in the state. Visit www.OYSAN.org for more information. The 2009 Spring Season Starts April 18th It has been a busy and productive winter for GESA. In addition to teams playing indoor soccer over the winter, the foot skills training sessions at South Rec. will come to an end in April as teams prepare to move outdoor. Three new teams will take the field this Spring bringing the total number of GESA teams to 7 with over 70 players and coaches. We have also moved to a new location! In close cooperation with the Elyria High School Soccer coaches and program GESA moved our home field to the Elyria High School's Pioneer Field at 570 North Abbe. The fields will be put in and new goals are going to be added. GESA is also adding a concession both at the location. Good Luck to all the soccer teams! |
